Upscale Italian with the kitchen visible, and attentive polite service. We've been coming here for years - great for large parties or small. Comfortable ambience, delicious food. Tried the squid-ink pasta which had lovely subtle flavors and plenty of clams. My wife had Rigatoni Bolognese which had a robust meaty flavor and perfect sauce. Definitely worth it and made for a nice night out.

Piatti has been our favorite place to eat in U District for the last couple years, this is our go-to for special occasions and its definitely a great spot to check out for brunch on the weekends too! They have a ton of variety on the menu, I order something different every time I go in and it’s always good. They have the BEST caesar salad in seattle and it’s the best place in the area to go for pasta as well. Amazing friendly staff always gives great service and they have a good attention for detail. If you go for Brunch get the Spicy Sicilian Hash or Lemon Ricotta Pancakes- SO good!!

I had lunch there with a few folks from work and it was a good setting. I typically judge Italian restaurants by The Bolognese and I thoroughly enjoyed what I ate. I will have to go back to try other dishes and perhaps drinks at a different time but it isn't an area I go to often but it's definitely worth trying again in the future.

We had a blast at Piatti. The food was very tasty, and the staff were great, specially Noah which was just amazing, very helpful and with good energy. We ordered a Flatbread Margherita Pizza, Lemon Ricotta Ravioli and the NY Steak, including a few non-alcoholic drinks. We loved everything, the food tasted good and felt fresh. The Ravioli is made in-house by the restaurant and is not bought. The drinks where interesting. Not great, but not bad either. We sat in the fireplace room, which was cozy and romantic, although the resturant can feel a bit loud due to the ecostics.

This is my first time writing a Google review. After placing an order online today, I received the order confirmation. About 10 minutes later, I checked the order status and received a message from the restaurant with the pickup time. That’s when I realized I had ordered from the wrong location—I’m in Seattle, but I accidentally placed my order at the San Antonio store. I can’t believe I made such a mistake! I immediately called the restaurant to request a cancellation, and the manager, Jacob, handled the situation. He told me that he could transfer my order to the Seattle store so I could pick it up there. I really appreciate his help—this was such a great solution! When I arrived at the Seattle store, the manager there was also very nice! I felt really bad for causing trouble for both stores, but their service was truly excellent. They handled the issue quickly and efficiently. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience my mistake caused them. After picking up my order, I missed a call from Jacob, but he left a voicemail letting me know that my food was ready for pickup. He followed up on the entire process from start to finish—he was truly responsible and dedicated! Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for the name of the manager at the Seattle store, but she was very beautiful and had such a warm and welcoming presence. I’m really grateful for the help and understanding from both managers—they are highly capable and professional. Thank you so much! Also, I hope others won’t make the same mistake I did—double-check your order location! It can cause unnecessary trouble and extra work for the staff.
